ABOUT

Allow me to introduce myself

Hi there!

Hi, I’m Riley Carroll, a creative professional working in marketing and social media strategy, with a background in journalism, photography, and design.

My professional journey began in journalism and student media, where I contributed to outlets like the San Antonio Express-News. After starting graduate school at UTSA, I have pivoted to working as a Director of Digital Media for the City of San Antonio while continuing to shoot graduation photography.

While you look over the options, please feel free to reach out with any questions. I'm more than happy to schedule a phone call, Zoom, FaceTime, or coffee chat with you!

Do I have to know how to pose before our session?

Not at all! You're always free to pose as you feel most comfortable, but I will guide you through a variety of natural positions and movements throughout your session. If any of my guidance does not feel like your vibe, we can always move on to the next!

I like to make it fun by playing music during sessions and you're more than welcome to connect to my speaker.

Where are you located and will you travel?

I'm located in central San Antonio, but more than willing to travel for shoots; however, please note that travel will incur additional fees.

What if there is inclement weather for our scheduled session?

I will closely monitor forecasts in the days leading up to our session. If inclement weather is expected, we may opt to reschedule.

I am proficient in the Adobe Suite, the Google Suite, the Microsoft Suite, Canva, and CapCut.

I shoot with the Canon R6. I own a 24-70mm, a 75-300mm, and a 50mm lens. For my film projects, the production crew used a Canon C500.

Once delivered, you have the right to do whatever you would like with your photographs. I do, however, retain copyright ownership and ask for credit by name for any businesses that use my work for any public or marketing purposes.

What is your gallery turnaround time?

I aim to deliver your gallery within one to two weeks following photo selection. Expedited services will incur an additional fee.d

What services do you offer?

I offer services in photography, videography, social media, graphic design, and branding. Please reach out to me directly for details.

How will my photos be delivered?

Your gallery will be delivered to you via text with a link to your online gallery. From there, you can download your photos, share the link with friends/family, post to social media, etc.

What if there's something I want changed after my gallery is delivered?

My priority is client satisfaction. If there are tweaks that can be made to your gallery, please reach out to me ASAP.

Do you provide the original unedited RAW image files?

Upon request, you may select the images you'd like me to edit for your gallery. I do not provide the unedited RAW images for any other purpose.

The images in your gallery are edited to improve lighting, contrast, sharpness, and color — all of which are standard processes for digital photographers.

I do not. I'm personally not a huge fan of watermarks.
